Daftar Pemenang People’s Choice Awards 2021, BTS Bawa Pulang 3 Piala

ZIGI – People’s Choice Awards 2021 ditayangkan secara live dari Barker Hangar, Santa Monica, California pada 8 Desember 2021 pukul 09.00 WIB. Malam penghargaan ini dibedakan menjadi 4 kategori utama yakni untuk kategori musik, film, TV dan pop culture.

Dalam malam penghargaan ini, sejumlah selebriti juga mendapatkan penghargaan khusus diantaranya Dwayne Johnson mendapatkan penghargaan People’s Champion Award, Kim Kardashian dengan penghargaan Fashion Icon Award dan Christina Aguilera mendapatkan Music Icon Award.

BTS Menangkan Tiga Piala People’s Choice Awards 2021

Meskipun BTS tidak menghadiri malam penghargaan People’s Choice Awards 2021 karena sudah di Korea Selatan dan dalam masa istirahat, faktanya BTS kembali memenangkan tiga penghargaan diantaranya The Group of 2021 yang bersaing dengan ColdPlay, Imagine Dragons, The Jonas Brothers, Dan and Shat dan masih banyak lagi.

BTS juga membawa pulang penghargaan dengan kategori The Song of 2021 dengan lagunya yang bertajuk Butter. Selain itu, BTS juga memenangkan The Music Video of 2021.

“Kami sangat senang karena semua penghargaan ini berarti banyak orang telah mengakui upaya kami. Kami sangat bersyukur sehingga sulit untuk mengungkapkannya dengan kata-kata. Kami bisa sampai sejauh ini karena ARMY berada tepat di belakang kami,” kata BTS dalam video pidato kemenangan dikutip dari Soompi pada Rabu, 8 Desember 2021.

Kemenangan BTS menjadi yang ke sekian kali setelah memenangkan penghargaan seperti di AMA’s 2021 sebagai Artist Of The Year, begitu pula dalam penghargaan Asia Artist Awards 2021 yang membawa dua penghargaan (U+ popularity Award dan Song of the Year). Tak hanya itu, BTS juga memenangkan penghargaan dalam Melon Music Awards 2021 dengan kategori Song of the Year dan Best Male Group.
