The Global economy is collapsing: Covid-19 is causing the world’s biggest economic crisis since the 2nd World War. Indonesia is no exception. The IMF projected that Indonesia’s economic growth will drop from 5.02% in 2019 to 0.5% in 2020. But our lives improve only when we take chances. Lessons from Covid-19 offers a chance to reset and reshape the world in a more sustainable way as envisioned in the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Sustainability Action for The Future Economy (SAFE) is an annual forum organized by Katadata to discuss sustainable economic development problems and solutions.
SAFE brings together all stakeholders related to sustainability issues, ranging from the government, corporations, and civil society organizations to participate in exploring concrete actions to achieve a sustainable economy in Indonesia.
