ZIGI – Daftar pemenang SAG Awards 2022 atau Screen Actors Guild Awards 2022 telah diumumkan. Ajang penghargaan bergengsi ini resmi digelar di The Barker Hangar, Santa Monica, California pada Minggu, 27 Februari 2022 waktu setempat.

Squid Game Borong Piala di SAG Awards 2022, Lee Jung Jae hingga Jung Ho Yeon
Drama Korea garapan Netflix bertajuk Squid Game memboyong sederet penghargaan dari SAG Awards 2022 termasuk dua pemain utamanya, Lee Jung Jae dan Jung Ho Yeon.
Squid Game berhasil membawa pulang dua dari empat nominasi yakni Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Drama Series untuk Lee Jung Jae serta Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Drama Series untuk Jung Ho Yeon.
Sayangnya, Squid Game kalah dalam kategori Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Drama Series sekaligus Outstanding Action Performance by a Stunt Ensemble in a Comedy or Drama Series.
Dengan ini, Lee Jung Jae tercatat sebagai aktor Asia pertama yang pernah memenangkan nominasi Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Drama Series dalam sejarah SAG Awards.
Kilas balik ke 2020, Parasite (2019) dinobatkan sebagai film bahasa Asing pertama yang memenangkan SAG Awards. Disusul dengan Youn Yuh Jung menerima penghargaan Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Supporting Role dalam SAG Awards 2021 berkat penampilannya di film Minari (2020).
Jung Ho Yeon Menangis Saat Terima Penghargaan SAG Awards 2022
Saat namanya dipanggil untuk menerima penghargaan, Jung Ho Yeon sempat menangis. Aktris sekaligus model kelahiran 1994 ini merasa bersyukur karena salah satu mimpinya telah menjadi kenyataan.
“Pertama-tama, terima kasih banyak. Saya telah melihat banyak aktor di antara penonton melalui layar TV, bermimpi menjadi seorang aktris suatu hari sambil menonton kalian semua. Terima kasih telah membuatku bermimpi dan membukakan pintu untukku. Aku mencintaimu kru Squid Game,” ungkap Jung Ho Yeon dalam pidato kemenangan di SAG Awards 2022.
