Nominasi MTV Movie & TV Awards 2022, Spider-Man: No Way Home Dominasi

ZIGI – Film Spider-Man: No Way Home dan The Batman masuk dalam nominasi MTV Movie & TV Awards 2022. Berbeda dengan tahun sebelumnya, ajang penghargaan bergengsi ini akan mengumumkan pemenangnya di hari yang sama baik untuk scripted (dengan skenario) dan unscriped (tanpa skenario).

MTV Movie & TV Awards Digelar Selama Satu Hari

MTV Movie & TV Awards

Sebelumnya, pengumuman pemenang acara ini dibagi menjadi dua bagian yakni MTV Movie & TV Awards: Scripted pada 16 Mei 2021 dan MTV Movie & TV Awards : Unscripted pada 17 Mei 2021. Namun tahun ini akan diumumkan dalam satu hari yakni pada Minggu, 5 Juni 2022. 

Belum diketahui secara pasti mengapa acara tersebut menjadi satu hari. Sebagai informasi, kategori unscripted contohnya adalah program reality show, serial dokumenter, pembawa acara, hingga selebriti internet.

Terlepas dari itu, MTV Movie TV Awards 2022 akan digelar secara langsung dari Santa Monica’s Barker Hanger, Amerika Serikat. Ada dua kategori baru yakni Best Song dan Here For The Hookup. Sementara untuk unscripted juga ada dua kategori yang baru yakni Best Reality Return dan Best Reality Star.

Film Spider-Man: No Way Home unggul di kategori film dengan mendapatkan tujuh nominasi termasuk Best Movie. Sementara untuk serial, ada Euphoria dari HBO yang mendapatkan enam nominasi termasuk Best Show.

Dikutip Zigi.id dari Variety pada Kamis, 12 Mei 2022, penggemar dapat memilih di 26 kategori mulai 11 Mei dan hingga 18 Mei di situs vote.mtv.com. Pembawa acara tersebut masih belum diumumkan.
