Indonesia Gives Special Attention for US-based Oil and Gas Companies

KATADATA ? The Energy and Mineral Resources (EMR) Minister, Sudirman Said, met the Deputy Assistant Minister of the U.S. Energy, Jonathan Elkind. Both of them met in a discussion regarding the investment potential in the energy sector with a theme ?The 4^th U.S. ? Indonesia Energy Roundtable,? Jakarta, Monday (3/8).

Several things was discussed in the meeting, and one of them is regarding Indonesia gives a special attention for US-based oil and gas companies that wish to invest in Indonesia.

Sudirman also said that Indonesia has a great potential of energy source, and US would be very important in helping them to develop the energy source. All this time, the U.S. has given their real commitment to invest in Indonesia.

Meanwhile, Jonathan Elkind add that the U.S. would keep on doing cooperation with Indonesia, especially in the energy sector. Furthermore, all this time, the US-based companies in Indonesia have given a lot of contribution to Indonesia.
