Daftar pemenang MTV Movie & TV Awards 2021 (scripted) didominasi oleh serial Marvel Cinematic Universe yang tayang di Disney Plus. WandaVision dan The Falcon and the Winter Soldier banyak membawa pulang piala
Elizabeth Olsen berhasil menang dalam kategori Best Performance in A Show bersaing dengan Anya Taylor-Joy (The Queen’s Gambit), Elliot Page (The Umbrella Academy), Emma Corrin (The Crown), dan Michaela Coel (I May Destroy You).
Dalam pidato kemenangan, ia berterima kasih kepada penggemar setia Marvel atas penghargaan pertamanya setelah 7 tahun memerangkan Scarlett Witch atau Wanda Maximoff.
Sementara Best Performance in A Movie dimenangkan oleh almarhum Chadwick Boseman lewat perannya di film Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom. Film terakhir aktor Black Panther sebelum meninggal karena kanker usus pada 28 Agustus 2020.
