ZIGI – Nominasi Grammy Awards 2023 telah diumumkan pada Rabu pagi, 16 November 2022. Beyonce menjadi pemimpin di nominasi kali ini dengan mendapatkan sembilan kategori termasuk untuk Record of the Year yang bersaing dengan Adele, Harry Styles hingga Doja Cat.

Fakta Grammy Awards 2023

Ajang Grammy Awards ke-65 akan disiarkan langsung dari Crypto Arena, Los Angeles pada 5 Februari 2022. Acara ini akan disiarkan langsung di jaringan televisi CBS dan Paramount Plus. Pembawa acara dan penampil di Grammy Awards 2023 akan diumumkan segera.

Beyonce mendominasi untuk nominasi tahun ini dengan 9 kategori. Kendrick Lamar mendapatkan delapan nominasi. Sedangkan Adele dan Brandi Carlile masing-masing mendapatkan tujuh nominasi. Harry Styles, Mary J. Blige, Future, DJ Khaled dan produser serta penulis lagu The Dream dengan masing-masing enam kategori.

Dikutip dari The Newyork Times, Beyonce mencetak 88 nominasi di Grammy Awards dan terikat dengan Jay-Z, suaminya, untuk nominasi terbanyak yang diterima oleh musisi mana pun dalam sejarah penghargaan.

Di sisi lain, ada pula BTS yang kembali mencetak rekor. Di Grammy Awards 2023, mereka mendapatkan dua nominasi yakni Best Music Video dan Best Pop Duo/Group Performance untuk lagu My Universe bersama Coldplay. Ini adalah pertama kalinya sensasi Kpop dinominasikan di lebih dari satu kategori Grammy Awards. Tak cuma itu, BTS juga menjadi musisi Korea pertama yang masuk nominasi Grammy selama 3 tahun berturut-turut.

Dikutip dari laman resminya, Recording Academy berperan dalam pemilihan dan untuk memastikan proses Penghargaan Grammy yang dipimpin dengan cara yang adil dan etis dan bahwa anggota voting membuat pilihan mereka hanya berdasarkan manfaat artistik dan teknis dari rekaman yang memenuhi syarat.
